# AI Agent

Software that can carry out a multi-step task on its own, like reading an email, deciding what it means, and taking the next action, instead of just answering a question.

An AI agent goes beyond a chatbot that only replies to messages. It can read information, make a decision, and take an action, like booking a meeting, updating a CRM, or drafting a reply, without a person walking it through each step. AI Abstraction builds agents that plug into the tools a business already uses, so the work actually gets done, not just described.
