The collection of a business’s own documents, like manuals, FAQs, and policies, that an AI agent is trained to answer from.

A knowledge base is the source material an AI agent draws its answers from: product manuals, internal policies, FAQs, and similar documents. Feeding this into an agent through Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) is what makes its answers specific to a business instead of generic.
