Managed AI Agents

# It’s 2am. Who’s watching your AI agent?

We host it, monitor it, and fix it before you notice something’s wrong. That’s what managed means, and it’s included with every agent we build.

[Call 551-246-4338](tel:+15512464338)

Start with a free pilot, then $299/month and up after, month to month, 30 days’ notice to cancel.

In plain terms: your agent’s status is checked continuously, day and night, with an alert the moment something needs attention.

## What does “managed” actually mean at AI Abstraction?

At AI Abstraction, “managed” means eight specific things included every month: uptime monitoring, model upgrades, prompt tuning, cost optimization, security patching, integration maintenance, a monthly report, and one named person to call. No vague promises.

### Uptime monitoring and alerting

We watch your agent around the clock and get an alert the moment something looks wrong.

### Model version upgrades

When a better or cheaper model version ships, we test it against your setup and move you over without breaking what already works.

### Prompt and accuracy tuning

We review real conversations, flag the ones the agent got wrong or wasn't sure about, and update its instructions and knowledge so the same mistake doesn't happen twice. Your agent gets more accurate the longer it runs.

### Cost monitoring and optimization

We watch what your agent is spending and rework it if a more efficient setup would save you money.

### Security patching

We keep every piece of the system patched and current, so a known vulnerability never becomes your problem.

### Integration maintenance

When Slack, your CRM, or your calendar changes its connection rules, we update it before anything breaks.

### Monthly performance reporting

Every month you get a plain-English report on what your agent handled and how well it worked.

### A named human contact

One person who knows your setup and answers when you call. Not a ticket queue.

## Doing it yourself vs. hiring an agency vs. AI Abstraction’s managed service

Building an AI agent yourself, hiring an agency for a one-time project, and using AI Abstraction’s managed service differ mainly in who watches the agent after launch. The table below compares who builds it, hosts it, and fixes it when something breaks.

Comparison of doing it yourself, hiring an agency, and Managed AI Agents from AI Abstraction

Do it yourself

Hire an agency

Managed AI Agents

Who builds it

You or your team, using off-the-shelf tools

An outside team, for a one-time project fee

Who hosts it

Your own account, your responsibility

Often handed off to you after launch

Us, on infrastructure we monitor

Who watches it after launch

Whoever happens to notice it stopped working

Usually not included once the contract ends

Us, 24/7, before you'd notice

Who updates it as AI models change

Whenever someone has time to look into it

Only if you sign a new project

Us, tested and rolled out for you

What happens when something breaks

You troubleshoot it yourself

A new support request, if the agency is still around

We're already on it

Whether it gets more accurate over time

Depends on someone finding time to review conversations and rewrite prompts

Rarely, once the contract ends

Yes. We review real conversations and refine it every month

Ongoing cost

Unpredictable, depends on your team's time

Low after launch, but you carry the risk

One predictable monthly fee

## How fast does AI Abstraction respond when something breaks?

Response time depends on severity: critical issues get an immediate, often automatic response; high-severity issues get a response within 1 to 2 days; normal issues are handled within your plan’s usual service level.

Response time by issue severity

Severity

What it means

Response time

Critical

Agent is down or unusable

Immediately, and in most cases automatically

High

A major feature is broken

1 to 2 days, depending on your service level

Normal

A minor issue with no urgent impact

Depends on your service level

Exact response times are set out in your service agreement and vary by plan tier.

## Managed AI Agents: questions owners ask

What exactly do you monitor?

Uptime, response accuracy, cost, and any errors the agent runs into. If something looks wrong, we know before you do.

What happens if the AI model we use gets discontinued?

We test the replacement model against your specific use case first, then move you over with no gap in service.

Can I cancel managed hosting and keep the agent?

You can cancel any time with 30 days' notice, and your data comes with you: your knowledge base, your documents, and the timestamped record of everything the agent did. The agent itself is not transferred. The prompts and configuration are ours, and they are licensed to you for as long as your hosting runs. We provide your export, then delete our copy.

How fast do you respond when something breaks?

It depends on your plan tier, shown in the response-time table above. Every plan includes monitoring that catches most problems before you would ever notice them.

Do you charge extra every time you update a prompt?

No. Prompt and accuracy tuning is included in the Growth and Enterprise plans, as often as it is needed.
