Posts that include a video embed a YouTube player. Nothing loads from YouTube until you press play. Until then, the page shows only a still image stored on our own server.

Once you press play, YouTube receives your request and may store data on your device. We use youtube-nocookie.com, which delays that storage until playback starts. It does not prevent it. YouTube is a Google service, and what happens to that data is governed by Google’s privacy policy.
