Chatbot

A program that replies to messages in a conversation. Most chatbots can only answer questions, unlike an AI agent, which can also take action.

A chatbot typically does one thing: it answers questions in a conversation window. An AI agent can do that too, but it can also carry out tasks, like booking an appointment, updating a record, or sending a follow-up, without a person doing the follow-through by hand. AI Abstraction builds agents, not simple chatbots.
